Football is played on a rectangular grass field. Each team consists of 11 players playing at different positions and the objective of each team is to score by moving the ball across the field and beyond the goal line of the opposing team’s goal.
The team having the most goals within the given time period (usually 90 minutes) wins the match. If the match is tied at the end of regulation then depending on the competition, it may either be considered as draw or can extend to Extra-Time and Penalties.
